The Albuquerque African American Catholic Community cordially invites all to join us for Mass, Sunday, June 24, 2018, to celebrate the Solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist. Click the title for more information.
You are invited to participate in the Corpus Christi Celebration on Sunday, June 3, 2018, after the 7:00 a.m. Mass, which is rescheduled from the usual 8:00 a.m. Mass. The feast of Corpus Christi is a yearly event when our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament is exposed not only to faithful Catholics but everyone. It is an occasion when Catholics can show their love for Christ in a very public way. It is also a fantastic way in which we can show our love for our neighbors by bringing Our Lord and Savior closer to them. We would like as many ministries and parishioners to participate in the procession. If you are a parishioner, please show up before the procession begins which is directly following the 7 a.m. Mass. Don't forget to bring fragrant flowers and herbs to throw before the Blessed Sacrament. Learn more about the origins of Corpus Christi by clicking the title.
Please join in celebrating Monsignor Luna's 40th Anniversary of his Ordination. The Mass Celebration will be Friday, June 22nd at 6:00 pm at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande, followed by an appetizer potluck at St. Pius Auxiliary Gym. Please RSVP to the parish office.
Each Summer the Archdiocese offers a Summer Institute of Formation, a week of classes for all Catholics interested in increasing their understanding of the Faith, and/or increasing their skills in explaining or professing to others, including their children. Come learn along with others about the faith so that you can teach it to others inside and outside the family. This year the Institute will be held at Lourdes Hall on the Archdiocesan Campus, the week of June 4 - 8, 2018. A fee of $50 is charged. Click the title for more information.
