There is good news and there is other news. The good news is that as the transition from
the Capital Campaign to the Nazareth Center Fund occurs, more than $1.7M has been raised!
The other news is that the goal was $3M.
The project cost for the Nazareth Center is expected to be $4.9M. The Capital Campaign began with $900,000.00 in the Building Fund; the goal of raising $3M was set so that $1M would be required as a loan.
That changes now. As the planning year leading up to construction begins, there is $1.7M in the Capital Campaign and $.9K in the Building Fund. The total is $2.6M, which means the work of fundraising still needs to be done. If we continue to support the Nazareth Center Fund like we have supported the Capital Campaign and balance our giving to the ACA and to the support of our parish, our reward will be a smaller mortgage with the Archdiocese when we open the Nazareth Center. The Archdiocese has agreed to grant a loan of $2.25M, which is a blessing. It would be very good news if we don’t have to borrow that much. With our continued support, we could look forward to more good news! Thank you for your continued sacrifice!
St. Joseph the Worker, pray for us!
